Sweet Sweet Houzz

I have been using a iPad app called Houzz for over a month now and I wanted to share the fact that I really love it.

The quality of the images is superb and it’s filled with inspiration and tips from designers.

But perhaps its best feature is that you can build your own Ideabook.  Comment or not it saves them to your Ideabook which you can browse at anytime.

Speaking of browsing, Houzz also includes awesome filters.  You can browse by Style, Space or Metro.  These features help you narrow down the images to your particular taste.  So you won’t see country styles from Atlanta when you are interested in eclectic mixes from San Francisco.

If you have an iPhone you can also download the app but it’s much more effective on an iPad.  Or you can go to the Houzz website and skip the app entirely; either way it’s definitely worth a look at.

Herman Miller – Timeless Design

I purchased this Herman Miller poster on eBay and “not so” secretly want all designs featured in it.  Is that too much? Nah!

Sarah’s Loft Bedroom – Wow!

I’ve enjoyed Sarah Richardson’s shows over the years, but I have to admit that Sarah 101 is fast becoming a favourite of mine!

White, gray and a splash of color

This is such an inspirational space and it proves that you don’t need colored walls to make a dramatic statement.
